How To Write Effective Sales Copy

Welcome to The Netwriting Masters Course

This is a book that EVERYBODY needs. No matter what you are doing on the Net, you must get the WORDS right.

The Netwriting Masters Course will show you -- anyone -- regardless of the type of business, how to write copy that attracts targeted visitors, and that gains the trust and confidence of those visitors *beforehand,* making them more receptive to your sales message.

Then, and ONLY then, does it show you how to write the sales copy that "closes" whatever your monetization model may be.

While communicating effectively on the Net has always been a matter of import, effective Netwriting accomplishes a LOT more than simply transmitting your message to your visitors in an effort to turn them into customers. It...

o attracts free, targeted traffic from Search Engines (SEs)

o builds trust and establishes your credentials

Most importantly, effective Netwriting addresses the way that the vast majority of people use the Net...

They search for information, solutions, answers to questions, and so on. They do NOT look for YOU. After all, if they knew about your business, they'd already be customers! And they certainly wouldn't use a Search Engine to locate your Web site -- they'd simply type its domain and go.

However, most small businesses don't recognize this basic fact. So they are doomed before they start. Here's what they do instead...

1) Create a product or service (or make the move to sell an existing product or service online).

2) Create a site to sell the product or service.

3) Add payment and fulfillment solutions.

And finally...

4) Watch their sites die slow deaths of neglect, due to lack of traffic.

5) Wonder what went wrong.

They never had a chance since they used the wrong process. And they probably didn't have the right tools to carry out their plans either!

Success is NOT about "putting up a site." It's not about hosting. It *IS* about understanding how people use the Net, and proceeding accordingly. It *IS* about executing as efficiently as possible.

And that starts with PREselling.

-----NOTE-----
Naturally, you don't need to concern yourself with this if you have a multi-million-dollar advertising budget or if you're a nationally- recognized brand (although you'd fare much better if you did). Unfortunately, that counts most of us out.

For 99.9% of online small businesses, Netwriting is both the most effective and the most cost-efficient way to build your business.
-----NOTE END-----

Why does the "put up a site and set up the cash register approach" fail so miserably?

Simple... these sites are designed to look great and to make the sale, not to deliver what your prospective customer seeks online... information.

So what happens?

Well, because these sites contain virtually no information, no material that will deliver interested buyers-to-be from the Search Engines, they don't get any traffic. Even if the Webmaster should dabble in advertising, s/he'll find it a thankless task -- without quality content to build trust and establish the credibility of the business, visitors will be reluctant to purchase.

In the end, the results are the same.

The site doesn't make the sale. The Web site dies.

---

Two important considerations...

1) You need traffic to sell. Without it, the best fulfillment system, credit card clearing and fraud checking services are useless. Heck, does a $20,000 Web site even exist if no one visits?

2) Offline, doing business is all about "location, location, location." Build an attractive store selling appealing merchandise in a busy area of town, and BINGO -- sales are virtually guaranteed due to passerby traffic!

However...

Most small business people make the mistake of taking the "location, location, location" mindset with them as they move online. That's a problem... there are no browsing, shopping visitors waltzing by your Web site in cyberspace.
In other words, "location" no longer matters.

What matters is...

"Information, information, information!"

Information that...

o credentializes your business, your service and your products

o establishes a unique relationship with the visitor

o builds trust and confidence

o provides content, as well as answers and solutions to the most pressing issues your potential clients have.

And THAT brings us back to The Netwriting Masters Course.
There is a way to write to PREsell... and there are 1,000 ways NOT to write it. The Netwriting Masters Course addresses the vital differences between selling and PREselling. It teaches you exactly what it is you must do to attract targeted visitors, PREsell them and THEN convert them into clients.

For any small business doing business online, the steps to success are exactly those that form the foundation of this highly successful process...

1) Write high quality content related to the theme or topic of your business or passion.

2) Use this quality content to draw free, targeted traffic from the Search Engines.

3) PREsell the traffic, use it to gain trust and confidence -- people buy from those they like and trust!

4) Convert your traffic into dollars -- whatever your business or monetization model (ex., hard goods, e-goods, services, even clicks on Google ads), NOW is the time to start generating dollars from your Web site.

---

As you can see, the first three steps involve a completely different kind of Netwriting. Write to deliver what humans want... information. Write for two audiences, the spiders AND the humans.

Only after you PREsell, are you ready to monetize (see how those businesses fixated on "location, location, location" went so horribly wrong?).

So all the attention given to writing to SELL misses one crucial point...

It focuses on only one of the four key steps, the last one.
Yes, only after you've created high-value topical content that has...

... built targeted traffic...

and...

... PREsold your audience...

... do you need to worry about writing copy that SELLS.

I'm not diminishing the importance of the last step. Done properly, it can literally triple sales... or destroy all your good efforts if you write terrible sales copy.

If you are selling hard goods, your product sales copy is very important since your customer can't feel, taste or smell your merchandise and most people's purchasing decisions are made based on these senses. Therefore, you must provide your customer with very descriptive product information and good graphics. But remember...

Sales copy only gets a chance to shine AFTER you get the first three steps "RIGHT/write."

The Netwriting Masters Course is the first and only course that shows you how to get the WHOLE process correct...

And it's free.

This is an absolute must-read for any would-be Net marketer.
Period. At any price, this would be a "don't miss" book.

> But it's not at "any price" -- it's free.

The Netwriting Masters Course will show you -- anyone -- regardless of the type of business, how to write copy that attracts targeted visitors, and that gains the trust and confidence of those visitors *beforehand,* making them more receptive to your sales message.

While communicating effectively on the Net has always been a matter of import, effective Netwriting accomplishes a LOT more than simply transmitting your message to your visitors in an effort to turn them into customers. It...

o starts the whole process CORRECTLY

o attracts free, targeted traffic from Search Engines (SEs)

o builds trust and establishes your credentials

Success is NOT about "putting up a site." It's not about hosting. It doesn't start with the cash register.

It *IS* about understanding THE FUNDAMENTAL REALITY of how people use the Net, and proceeding accordingly. It *IS* about executing as efficiently as possible, and getting the steps right, in order.

It's about starting where they start.

And that starts with creating the CONTENT they seek.

--

The Process, CONTENT-->TRAFFIC-->PRESELL-->MONETIZE, is based upon THE FUNDAMENTAL REALITY of the way people use the Web -- they search for information, solutions. So, to succeed online, you must start where they start...

1) CONTENT
Online, people search for information, look for solutions -- they are NOT looking for you. Give them what they want by converting your knowledge into high-quality, in-demand CONTENT related to the theme of your business or interest.

2) TRAFFIC
Your theme-based topical content ranks high at the Search Engines, attracting free, targeted TRAFFIC... interested, open-to-you visitors.

3) PREsell
Develop trust and confidence ("PREsell") by OVERdelivering relevant, original, high-value information to these motivated pre-customers. PREsell your visitors -- people buy from those they like and trust!

4) MONETIZE
Convert your warm, willing-to-buy visitors into dollars, in various ways. Sell hard goods, e-goods, your personal or professional services... or all three. Or become a "pure infopreneur" and earn substantial income without selling at all, through Google Ads, affiliate fees, finder's fees and other techniques. NOW... now that you have accomplished C-->T-->P, now is the time to start generating dollars.

The Netwriting Masters Course is THE FIRST AND ONLY COURSE that shows you how to get the WHOLE process correct...
