If it is listed as one of the first four to five ingredients, and you have dry skin problems to begin with, then you can probably find a better cosmetic base to use that is more suited to your skin type. As it is a common ingredient in many products, it is worth it to research different brands and use the healthiest ones you can find. Remember, the FDA does not completely have control over what is in the products we use everyday! And that means yes, some are bad!
